The Aldershot and Farnborough Dance Festival is held every year in the spring as part of the Aldershot and Farnborough Festival of Music and Art, and has been in existence since 1941. It is affiliated to the British and International Federation of Festivals, and is supported by Rushmoor Leisure.
For over twenty years the Festival has been held at what is now the Samuel Cody Specialist Sports College in Cove. Until recently this was known as the Oak Farm Centre, and prior to that Oak Farm School. However, regular visitors to our Festival will note that the venue is identical to that of previous years.
The Dance Festival is a qualifying event for the All-England Dance Festival on alternate years, and the 2020 Festival will be a qualifying year.
Details are on this website of the syllabus, how to enter, fees, and how to find Samuel Cody College.
Please read the section about new data protection regulations (select “about” then “Data Protection”).
The Dance Section is now closed for entries as it is oversubscribed. We have not been in this situation before, and regret having to disappoint those who may have hoped to enter. We have a waiting list, and if you wish we will place your entries on it, but please do not send any money at this time.
